George M. Villa

George Villa is the oldest of 10 children born in Peoria, Illinois. He was raised in South Dakota. George attended, taught and coached at Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD. and at the University of South Dakota. One area of expertise he taught was swimming, which has led some of his swimmers to professional status. George also wrote his own Master’s Degree at the University of South Dakota. He received a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in selective studies and Business. George has utilized his passion to continue his education in the insurance and retirement planning industry, which he has now been a part of for over a decade. He has mainly worked with families like yours in the Central IL. and Iowa areas for the past 7 years. We’ve been offering a tax preparation service and tax efficient distribution planning to them as well.

George believes that communication and interaction with his clients regularly is the key to understanding their financial planning needs. He created Purpose First Planning™ to assist them in realizing their dreams and aspirations. George has qualified as a Master Elite IRA Adviser with Ed Slott, an exclusive educational organization of financial advisers. As a Master Elite IRA Advisor, George Villa completes extensive training which includes multiple classes and exams on IRA strategies directly taught by “The Elite Advisor,” Ed Slott.

George believes that at the nucleus of a successful retirement plan must be a comprehensive, cohesive financial strategy. This strategy must be exclusively put together for each individual. Each client is given watchful attention while only making adjustments as necessary for a changing economic climate.


Brian A. Huffman
Elder Law Attorney, Villa Tax Strategic Partner

Brian received his bachelor’s degree from St. Louis University in 1989 and has practiced since 1992 after earning his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Brian opened Huffman Law Offices, P.C., in 1998 with a focus on estate planning and elder law. He is a member of the Illinois and Missouri bar associations and licensed in both states. Brian is also a member of the National Care Planning Council and NAELA, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. He is also the president of the Collinsville Soccer Association, a not-for-profit children’s recreational soccer program.
 
 
 
 
 
 


Bryce Villa
Vice-President, Financial Advisor

Bryce was born in Iowa City, and mainly raised in Rapid City, South Dakota. He attended Jamestown College in North Dakota where he became a three-time academic wrestler and received a Bachelors degree graduating Magna Cume Laude. He is now married and resides in Davenport with his wife Jessica.

He has worked with Villa Tax Advisory for 7 years contributing efforts to our tax practice. He has always been our go-to guy with the IRS as well. He currently works out of our Bettendorf and East Moline offices meeting with current clients, new individuals and conducting seminars. Bryce has been advising families like yours since 2004 on issues regarding insurance and retirement.

As the practice has expanded, Bryce has remained committed to helping individuals in the Quad Cities and Central Illinois establish an easy to understand plan. Bryce holds the same values as George and will continually prove it to every client. Every individual that comes into contact with Villa Tax will understand the importance of their tailor-made to fit retirement plan.
